handmade oxfords

As a D.I.Y. kind of lady, I've often fantasized about making my own shoes, although I have a feeling I'd need to take a class or something and I imagine they don't offer cobbling at U of C or SAIT. In any case, VERLAIN is a women's shoe collection featuring  oxfords that are handmade in L.A.,  California. Designer Mark Lu designs the shoes and assists the factory in production. These little loafers are so cute, classic and stylish, and really touch on a sort of punk rock-grandmother style, that I particularly like to rock.
